After receiving Kindle Reader, the 110v plug in the accessory packet was not necessary. The screen protector was not easy to put on without creating bubbles. Also, he screen protector was hard to get even in the corners.

I have found the device practical in that it is small,convenient, attractive and above all sturdy (well made)
One suggestion - include in the package an extra set of socks to cover the earbuds - or at least offer them as a separate sale item. the price is right.

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!! -- 2010-07-29
This is all cheap junk!! The car charger broke after about 3 times using it--- it broke into 3 pieces when I tried to take it out of the cigarette lighter. The wall charger KILLED TWO IPODS!!! The first time, I charged my ipod overnight and it wouldn't turn on the next morning. I took it to Apple and they replaced it (Thank goodness). Now, I plug in my new ipod to charge it and, literally a minute later it shuts off and won't turn back on....just like what happened with the first one. Do not buy this--- it's junk and dangerous!! Save yourself stress and spend a little more for something of good quality. I wish I had.

Does not work with OtterBox -- 2010-07-28
I was excited to receive this product - but when I did, I could not fit my phone into the holder. I have an infant and a toddler, and work in a restaurant kitchen so I need a heavy duty case, and I'm not going to remove it from the case for the 10 minute car ride to work. The side arms did not open wide enough, and the supports on the bottom not long enough. Fortunately the plug fit through the narrow hole on the bottom. I rigged it so it will hold my phone while still in the case, and have yet to actually try it out, so I will be back to complete this review.
Shipping so slow, I can't even rate the product itself -- 2010-07-27
I received shipping confirmation, stating it was being shipped on the 21st. Well, today is the 27th and the shipping system shows that the shipper only sent the shipper the info that the package was coming, TODAY. This is deceiving and I am very unhappy with this entire shipment. Here's info from the shipper site, just fyi:

Not good for iPhone 3 -- 2010-07-26
Bought this for use with my iPhone 3. It charges my iPhone, but if you get wacky results if you try to use an app while plugged in to this device. Try making a move in Words w/Friends while plugged in, for example, or reading an article in the NY Times app - you can't do it. The phone won't respond to ordinary commands or gestures, or will give you unpredictable results. I finally stopped using it altogether when I started to notice that my phone seemed to be misbehaving a bit when UNPLUGGED as well. Not sure what's happening, but I was afraid that it was either having some type of weird effect on the OS, or (hopefully not) doing some type of damage to the circuitry on the phone. Yes, it only cost $2 or some-such, but definitely not even worth that price. Should have known I'd get what I paid for!

sync's and charges iPhone 3G perfectly fine -- 2010-07-26
It looks and works like the original cable supplied with the iPhone 3G (I do not have any type of case on the phone). I have sync'd the iPhone, and charge it routinely using this cable (for about a week). There is even the USB logo on the cable and doubt if most apple product users would be able to tell the difference. Quality product at the rock-bottom price of less than $3 delivered!

I read some of the other reviews and either they worked or they dont. the first one i got actually didn't work, but i called them and they were able to replace it for free of charge. The second one works great and for 2 bucks how can you go wrong? (cost over 30 at apple)
Shuffle adapter -- 2010-07-29
My wife's shuffle quit working and for less than two bucks it was worth a try to see if it was the charging cable. This fixed it and is much less bulky than the original.

I purchased the original single-slot PowerJolt for use in my car with my iPhone 3G. When my wife recently purchased an iPhone 4 we decided we needed a dual-slot charger for her car since it is the family vehicle. I was so happy with my original PowerJolt that it was a no-brainer.
Note that this unit doesn't ship with any cables but USB to iPhone/iPod cables can be found on Amazon for a couple bucks each.

I really didn't expect much from this product. I knew that the charger wouldn't last too long. It broke about a day or two after it came in. Good thing I didn't lose too much money out of this.

There is no reason to believe that this product was created by Apple even though that is what the seller would like you to believe you are buying. Apple has always been great about branding their products w/their logo. In fact, they are so proud of their logo they send you Apple stickers with your purchases so you help them advertise. That said, the product is currently charging my Apple Nano inside the house and the in car charger has worked the one time I plugged it in. It is a cheaply made, plastic, make in China product that is working thus far and cost me $4. I did think that I was buying an Apple made product but was suspicious about the price. If I was supposed to receive an "Apple iPod USB Travel Kit with Car Charger/Travel Adapter/Cable-White" that was actually made by Apple, Amazon sent me the wrong one. P.S. for Amazon.com, the picture of what you are asking me to review is not what you sent me either. What you sent was the "Apple iPod USB Travel Kit, etc." with the retractable USB cord. Come on Amazon, dial it in.

in my opinion, this item was unimpressive and disappointing to say the least. it was specific to my item as the description said but was "surprised" when my iPhone short cicuited.I mean I get what I pay for (and now have to pay even more to fix my phone) but whatever. money badly spent; lesson from online shopping learned. if you're considering buying this and don't mind spending $100+ fixing your phone due to the consequences then go for it, by all means :) but if you value to functionality of your phone just spend the $30 and get the oem version from the apple store: satisfaction guaranteed.

This ipod charger works great at first I had doubts because it was only a penny but I thought well im not loosing alot of money so what the heck??? I bought it and love it.
