Sony MDR-V150 Monitor Series Headphones with Reversible EarcupsSony MDR-V150 Monitor Series Headphones with Reversible Earcups

Excellent Product -- 2010-09-09
These are simply great headphones. For 15 dollars, there's no way to get anything better. They isolate the listener from the outside world, greatly improving the listening experience. I would recommend these to anyone who's looking for an affordable set of headphones.

disappointing -- 2010-09-07
I bought these on the basis of the reviews, the price and the need to cut down on sound in a mildly noisy workspace. I'd say that there is about a 10 percent reduction in noise, even with music playing; much less than I expected. I don't recommend these and should have done more research. And they aren't very comfortable either.

Sony DVPFX950 9-Inch Portable DVD Player, BlackSony DVPFX950 9-Inch Portable DVD Player, Black

Good player but sensitive to vibration -- 2010-09-09
I am very happy with the many ways you can hold, view and configure this player. Its ability to move from a tablet to a table top setup is very helpful. The picture and sound quality are good, and I have yet to find a DVD that was not viewable.

My only complaints are around its sensitivity to vibration. On a bumpy road or with a sudden stop, the player will sometimes freeze. One to three seconds of the movie will be lost, and the player will continue. This does not happen when driving on a smooth highway or a well repaired side street, but I live in Michigan where potholes and bumpy roads are very common.

Overall, I would recommend it to others with the caveat about bumpy car rides. Other players of lower quality have done better with the same levels of vibration.

Great little portable! -- 2010-09-06
Battery lasts a long time. Picture is very good and controls are easy to operate.

Great for eye glass wearers! -- 2010-09-09
Got this headphone and it sounded great! Awesome quality considering how little I paid for it. It's comfortable for long wearing too.

Good headphones -- 2010-09-07
These are great headphones for the money. The stars are based on what was paid compared with quality. I own more expensive Sony headphones and these ones are definately good for the price paid. My kids use them in the car. Be aware that the cord on these is really long. The do get a bit uncomfortable after extended use, but for listening while mowing the lawn they work well.

Sony Ultra Lightweight MDR-W08L Vertical In-The-Ear HeadphonesSony Ultra Lightweight MDR-W08L Vertical In-The-Ear Headphones

My fav running headphones -- 2010-09-09
The pair of these I have I think I bought in 1995, and they're still kicking. I bought those new spongy in ear headphones because they looked like a good idea, but when I'd get really running and sweating, the one in my left ear would start crackling from the seal and sweat. Yuck. Annoying. So, after those finally gave out I somehow re-located my old pair of these Sony's and after running in them this week I don't know why I ever quit wearing them. I thought they had stopped making them! Yay!

Great for the price -- 2010-09-03
I was using a pair of Sennheiser PX100's when mowing or at the gym for the past 5 years, until suddenly one side stopped working. Now they cost much more than I paid then (about 38), and even the new PX100-II's are a little pricey. Comparing those to these Sony's here's the differences:

Sony's cord is about 8" shorter. One side gets tugged on a little if I put my MP3 player in my sweats pocket.

Sony's are very workout friendly otherwise. Sweat wipes off easily when done (the PX100
s I had to blot the ear cushions).

These lack bass. There are parts of songs that I'm used to hearing that these don't even hint at in the bass region. Definitely an "airy" sound.

These are extremely comfortable and stay in place. They don't let sweat pool like the over the ear type did, and they don't shift. And best of all they feel like there's nothing at all on my head.

I paid 8 for these, shipped. Not bad, although I do miss the cord length and bass. Makes me wonder if I should've gone with the MDR-W24V headset. IF anyone has compared these two, let me know your thoughts. I really like the vertical style now; if only I could find some that get down to at least 40Hz and have a 4' cord.

Sony MDR7506 Professional Large Diaphragm HeadphoneSony MDR7506 Professional Large Diaphragm Headphone

Great headphones -- 2010-09-06
Crystal clear sound. Very good definition of the mids and lows. Response seems quite flat to me.

Not a good choice for on-the-go listening -- 2010-09-01
These were touted in several reviews as an "industry standard" and having excellent noise reproduction, but in the two weeks I've had them, they've been disappointing to me.

My last pair were Bose® QC2's ($299) which I destroyed with two years of severe and constant use. Beyond the glowing reviews for this Sony product, I wanted to see if I could get a comparable product for less than $100. The answer, I'm afraid, is a resounding and distortion-free NO!

I haven't had these long enough to comment on durability.

Comfort level is average. Wearing them with eyeglasses adds no significant discomfort.

Noise isolation was very disappointing. For around-ear design, I expected much less invasive external frequencies. Conversation level frequencies almost seem to reverberate, which is, to say the least, aggravating when, while listening in the same room with my girlfriend's TV, Andrea Bocelli has to compete with Chloe Kardashian.

Sound quality I would rate on par with most products in the $30-$50 range. These do sound pretty decent with my Yamaha receiver (as do my $20 Koss® phones), but for listeners like me wanting on-the-go (I-pod, laptop, etc.) performance, nothing can touch a really decent active noise-cancelling, battery-powered headset like Bose® produces. My apologies for what I know sounds like a paid endorsement, but I can't go spending hundreds of dollars on everybody's flagship products, just to give you an unbiased review.

Sony MDR-IF240RK Wireless Headphone SystemSony MDR-IF240RK Wireless Headphone System

Excellent range, terrible comfort -- 2010-09-05
These phones have excellent receiving range, working through almost 180 degrees. The sound quality, while not very good is acceptable for listening to television. Battery life is very good. HOWEVER THEY ARE HIDEOUSLY UNCOMFORTABLE!!! There is no swivel whatsoever, neither vertical nor horizontal. If your head is not shaped like the SONY dummy you are out of luck. To make things worse the ear pads (not cups) are foam plastic which is an excellent insulator making them quite hot.
It is so bad that I am trying to work a kludge with an old set (40 years) of Pioneer phones from my radio days.

Sony Mdr-As20J Active Style Headphones with Soft Loop Hangers (Black)Sony Mdr-As20J Active Style Headphones with Soft Loop Hangers (Black)

sony headphone -- 2010-09-03
best running headphones so far! maybe because is comes with a clip, great idea! the left side tends to vibrate slightly in my left ear (it doesn't fall out), perhaps because i use earrings in that ear but, turn up the volume, and you can't really tell.

Quality is superb -- 2010-09-02
Earphones are exactly what i was looking for, These fit my Iphone and use them to work out. Great quality. Sony earphones will last a long time and they go through some heavy use.

Sony MDR-V6 Monitor Series Headphones with CCAW Voice CoilSony MDR-V6 Monitor Series Headphones with CCAW Voice Coil

Excellent, cheap headphones -- 2010-08-30
These are great. I received them as a gift after doing several days of research looking for the best headphones I could get under 100 dollars.
The Sony MDR-V6 are super comfortable, I wear them for hours on end listening to music on my computer. They have amazing sound quality and get loud enough to use as miniature speakers.
But on top of all that is one of the best features: I live in a very small house, and my parents are usually sitting right behind me reading, or watching TV (my computer is in my living room). Even with them so close I can listen to my music loud enough to become completely immersed, and they can barely hear any, if any, sound leak at all.
Something interesting to note is that my own voice is muffled when I have the headphones on, but anyone else speaking I can hear loud and clear. Unless, that is, any music is playing. In which case no outside noise gets in, and practically none gets out (unless you have your music very loud. If it's loud enough to be easily heard outside of these headphones I fear for your hearing). So great sound isolation.

All in all, for the price especially, these are the best. They seem quite solid and unlikely to break, and even if they do 70 dollars is really not very much money to spend for something this great. I really can't recommend these enough. I mean, seriously, these are good enough that I decided to write a review for them. Which is saying a lot for me since I've purchased many products and no matter how much I loved them I've never written a review.

If you buy these I can pretty much guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Great Headphones. Fit is a little big. -- 2010-08-15
I love these headphones. The sound is superb. Bass, Treble, etc... It's all super good. In the airplane they are just about noise canceling. The only beef I have with these is they are a little loose on the head. I'll take it though. I have used them with a Droid Phone, and I don't think they are quite loud enough sometimes. However, that is just the phones issue I bet.

Walkman Car Connecting Pack for MD Walkman and CD Walkman (Model# CPA-9C)Walkman Car Connecting Pack for MD Walkman and CD Walkman (Model# CPA-9C)

Horrible -- 2010-09-06
Horrible product. Had to return it. The sound quality is not very good. Has a lot of noise. The volume level is low. There is a constant hissing sound. I use the adapter that was ordered from meritline for 2 bucks does a great job.

This is a great product! -- 2010-08-27
I wanted to connect my iPod and iPhone to the speakers in my car, but my car is too old to have any input jacks. It has a tape player, though, and this connecting tape works PERFECTLY! I've tried several other things, but this one actually works. Insert tape, insert the jack into my iPhone, turn on my car's tape player, and listen to music or audio books. YEA!!! You will be very pleased with this connector.

Sony Mdr-E10Lp/Blk Headphones - Fashion Earbuds (Black)Sony Mdr-E10Lp/Blk Headphones - Fashion Earbuds (Black)

Excellent buy! -- 2010-09-05
Ok, so there are earbuds with better bass - I splurged and spent $14 on the Sony PIIQ Exhales - but these Sonys have great clarity and an airy sound like open-air headphones that is really enjoyable and adds presence to recordings. Forget wedging something in your ear canal, these are excellent for the price. Much better than JVC Gumys.

Awesome earbuds -- 2010-08-21
Great range of sound, easily as loud as you could want, no popping/buzzing/clicking that some earbuds suffer at higher volumes. Impressively good bass, and they sit in my ears comfortably. Easy to forget you're wearing them.

Overall great value, these come highly suggested.

Very, VERY minor issue which might not affect ANYONE but me.
I think they may have a relatively low impedance, because if i plug in an amp (Pyle Pro PTA1000 1000 Watt DJ Amplifier, also from amazon) to the second headphone port on my laptop (more sophisticated sound cards prbly wouldn't have this happen) then the amp doesn't really get a signal, but if i unplug these earbuds, it instantly gets all the signal.
