This is really cool!!! -- 2010-07-29
I got this Mp3 player last week, and I am having a good time with it. I give this item 5 STARS. The touchscreen is really responsive, the sound quality is good, it has bluetooth and much more. Ofcourse it doesnt have wifi or access to the internet, but WHO CARES!!!! when it comes to media, which is what really matters, this player is one of the best out there. I recommend this product for everyone. You did a great job on this one, SAMSUNG.
Good with Basic Touch -- 2010-07-06
I have purhcased this for my wife and it works great. The touch screen works good but not as good as Apple Ipod touch. For this price, it is worth buying and only disadvantage is we cannot extend the memory. Videos work great and i would recommend this to my friends.

Perfect Sound -- 2010-06-24
I don't have much to say except, if you are looking for the perfect sound look no further. This is the best music player you've ever heard. An added plus is the ability to download free flash game from the internet. You won't be able to play all games but its a cool feature. Nice first attempt Samsung. Video Quality is also great. My only gripe is i wish it has a bigger screen.
An excellent digital audio music player. -- 2010-06-05
PROS: The Samsung P3 is a superb digital audio music player. It has built-in Bluetooth so you can connect to your PC, headset, or vehicle's Bluetooth device. The display is crisp and easy to navigate. The sound quality is simply awesome. It's the best sound quality I have ever heard from any device, including all iPod models. My father has an iPod Nano, and I've tried them all at the Apple store and compared the sound quality. You should install the Samsung EmoDio music management software which has certain features you may like. But you don't need it. To update the firmware, it is really easy, you just download the file from Samsung's website and transfer it to the device's root folder. Then unplug the USB connection to your PC, turn off the device, and turn it back on and the device will automatically install the firmware update.
To transfer music I like to use Windows Media Player 12 which comes with Windows 7, you can drag and drop your favorite playlists or music sorted by genre, and it is neatly categorized in the device. The transfer rate is awesome, full sized high quality MP3's transfer in a flash.
The video playback is superb too.
CONS: The only negative is that because it is such a great device, it's too bad it did not come with WiFi WPA/WPA2 and a browser app so I could surf the Internet.

Great little player!! -- 2010-06-26
I purchased this Samsung about 2 weeks ago and so far so good!! It was VERY easy to load my songs onto --- just had to sync it up with my Windows Media Player. I did not use the software it came with to load and organized my music. Nice sound --good little external speakers. I didn't realize it had this so it was a nice surprise for me!! I really just use this to listen to songs while I'm taking my daily walk so it works just fine for what I need it for. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a simple to use MP3 player --- even my 4 year old likes it!!
Very Good product -- 2010-05-19
I had been searching for a while for a really good MP3 player. This gave me everything I wanted and more. The touch screen can be tough to hit smaller buttons at times but overall the screen is great. The options are simple and work well. The price was good.

This is a terrific mp3 player -- I returned two others before I got this one. It is very easy to manage and sort through files on the player, and you can drag and drop on your computer. The buttons are easy to control; you don't accidentally skip through a file by hitting a button the wrong way. You can also lock the buttons so that you don't accidentally hit a button while moving around, etc. You can delete files from the player itself. It has a radio that receives stations very clearly, much better than other players I've had. I am very happy with it.

Bought this MP3 Player for my girlfriend since she wanted an MP3 Player that wasn't too expensive and I didn't want her to get something too cheap that it ends up being a cheap quality.
This MP3 Player is like a low priced high quality MP3 Player (that's what she said) after she got it. Since she's a fan of cutesy stuff, she loved the tiny icon featured on the screen that she could name herself. She told me she loved it.
Besides, the MP3 Player itself was an inside joke of something else as a birthday present for her. lol...

this is a great Player for the price. Has great sound with earbuds or with my powered speakers, i still am getting used to the touch screen so some times my big fingers hit the wrong function but thst is minor if you want a great MP-3 at a great price get tthis one

This item works good. It has bluetooth functionality which makes me buy this gadget. But I find it hard to shop for its accessories like armband that would fit. But overall the item is so cool and great to have.

Only player with "Skip Interval" setting. -- 2010-07-18
When it came time to replace my old Samsung MP3 player (not holding charge very long anymore) I bought about a dozen various other inexpensive MP3 players. My only two criterias were 1)controls without having to look at it 2)30sec skip interval in both fwd and rev to skip past those commercials in pod casts.
I was surprised to see that Samsung was the only brand that had skip interval. All the others skipped to the next file if you pressed fwd, or scanned forward if you held down fwd.
The "skip interval" on the samsung is adjustable to 5sec, 10sec, 30sec, 1min or an entire song (or file).
All the controls are easy to do without looking if you use it everyday. But it's easy to re-learn if you don't use it everyday.
My only complaint is the USB cap fits too snug and is slippery. So, unless your hands are sticky, you can't pull it off. But that's ok. I just leave the cap off.
Since Samsung is the only brand with the skip interval feature I hope they never abandon it. I'm sure in a few years the internal battery will stop holding a charge and I'll have to get a new Samsung.
Excellent for the $$ -- 2010-07-12
What I use it for: listening to audio books while working at and around home and while running errands
Pros: Inexpensive. Easily loads 4 books at at a time. Works with the standard audio library downloads. Returns to the same place in the book if I the unit off, pause it and it turns off or even if I run the battery down an need to recharge before I can turn it on and restart my book. It has a ffwd and rew. The battery will last all day and charges quickly (manual claims within 2 hrs but it has been closer to 1.5 hrs after I drain it). The back clip is sturdy and feels secure. I wear it on my shirt pocket but on my pants pocket where it sees a lot of shifting, it tends to pop off and end up swinging but I don't expect that the clip will break soon. Recharges with a generic wall plugin USB adapter so I don't have to take my computer with me when all I need is charging. The USB cover is tight and unlikely to ever be lost.
Cons: I really wanted a unit that ran on AAA batteries - I couldn't find that unit. The volume is a little quiet for loud areas and I had to buy a earphone set that had a volume slide which boosted the volume while I was mowing lawn and doing other loud things. The ffwd and rew are difficult to key without accidentally hitting the chapter fwd/back and need to be done with the tip of a fingernail in order not to spend several minutes getting back to where you were just a second ago. Only a chapter at a time can be deleted on the player rather than the whole book (album) unless you connect to the computer.
