 | Sony DVPFX950 9-Inch Portable DVD Player, Black
Great little portable! -- 2010-09-06 Battery lasts a long time. Picture is very good and controls are easy to operate.
Great DVD player -- 2010-09-04 This DVD player is perfect for me. The picture is great, and the sound is good. It has a long battery life, I can use it all day, and charge it up at night. Although the sound is good, it sounds even better with headphones. I love the tilt screen. It does seem a little delicate, If I was buying one for a small child, I would probably get one that was a little more durable, but this one is perfect for an adult or older child.

 | Sony MDR-V150 Monitor Series Headphones with Reversible Earcups
disappointing -- 2010-09-07 I bought these on the basis of the reviews, the price and the need to cut down on sound in a mildly noisy workspace. I'd say that there is about a 10 percent reduction in noise, even with music playing; much less than I expected. I don't recommend these and should have done more research. And they aren't very comfortable either.
Headphones -- 2010-09-02 These head phones are very nice and comfortable. The sound quality is great. When you first take them out of the package though they look like guitar head phones at the end, like they would plug into an amp. or something but you just take that off and it plugs into anything else like an ipod.

 | Sony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones
Old school Sony build qaulity! -- 2010-09-05 Been using the set for almost 3 years now. They're still kicking. They have survived numerous drops, pulls on the wire, puppy chewing on them, and even a few angry tosses >_>
They are very comfy as they are not tight on your head (they will fall off you look down though). Sound quality is good, not great, but its under $25, so great for the price.
Recommended.
VERY GOOD heaphones... for the price. -- 2010-09-04 Seriously for the price, you couldn't do better. Ya phones in the 100-300 dollar range exert more clarity, definition, and detail, but they're also in the 100-300 dollar price range.

 | Sony Ultra Lightweight MDR-W08L Vertical In-The-Ear Headphones
Great for the price -- 2010-09-03 I was using a pair of Sennheiser PX100's when mowing or at the gym for the past 5 years, until suddenly one side stopped working. Now they cost much more than I paid then (about 38), and even the new PX100-II's are a little pricey. Comparing those to these Sony's here's the differences:
Sony's cord is about 8" shorter. One side gets tugged on a little if I put my MP3 player in my sweats pocket.
Sony's are very workout friendly otherwise. Sweat wipes off easily when done (the PX100
s I had to blot the ear cushions).
These lack bass. There are parts of songs that I'm used to hearing that these don't even hint at in the bass region. Definitely an "airy" sound.
These are extremely comfortable and stay in place. They don't let sweat pool like the over the ear type did, and they don't shift. And best of all they feel like there's nothing at all on my head.
I paid 8 for these, shipped. Not bad, although I do miss the cord length and bass. Makes me wonder if I should've gone with the MDR-W24V headset. IF anyone has compared these two, let me know your thoughts. I really like the vertical style now; if only I could find some that get down to at least 40Hz and have a 4' cord.
Headphones -- 2010-08-30 Prefer the ones that can fold up but so far these are doing the job.

 | Sony MDR7506 Professional Large Diaphragm Headphone
Great headphones -- 2010-09-06 Crystal clear sound. Very good definition of the mids and lows. Response seems quite flat to me.
Not a good choice for on-the-go listening -- 2010-09-01 These were touted in several reviews as an "industry standard" and having excellent noise reproduction, but in the two weeks I've had them, they've been disappointing to me.
My last pair were Bose® QC2's ($299) which I destroyed with two years of severe and constant use. Beyond the glowing reviews for this Sony product, I wanted to see if I could get a comparable product for less than $100. The answer, I'm afraid, is a resounding and distortion-free NO!
I haven't had these long enough to comment on durability.
Comfort level is average. Wearing them with eyeglasses adds no significant discomfort.
Noise isolation was very disappointing. For around-ear design, I expected much less invasive external frequencies. Conversation level frequencies almost seem to reverberate, which is, to say the least, aggravating when, while listening in the same room with my girlfriend's TV, Andrea Bocelli has to compete with Chloe Kardashian.
Sound quality I would rate on par with most products in the $30-$50 range. These do sound pretty decent with my Yamaha receiver (as do my $20 Koss® phones), but for listeners like me wanting on-the-go (I-pod, laptop, etc.) performance, nothing can touch a really decent active noise-cancelling, battery-powered headset like Bose® produces. My apologies for what I know sounds like a paid endorsement, but I can't go spending hundreds of dollars on everybody's flagship products, just to give you an unbiased review.

 | Sony MDR-IF240RK Wireless Headphone System
Excellent range, terrible comfort -- 2010-09-05 These phones have excellent receiving range, working through almost 180 degrees. The sound quality, while not very good is acceptable for listening to television. Battery life is very good. HOWEVER THEY ARE HIDEOUSLY UNCOMFORTABLE!!! There is no swivel whatsoever, neither vertical nor horizontal. If your head is not shaped like the SONY dummy you are out of luck. To make things worse the ear pads (not cups) are foam plastic which is an excellent insulator making them quite hot.
It is so bad that I am trying to work a kludge with an old set (40 years) of Pioneer phones from my radio days.
works great -- 2010-09-04 Some of the attribute questions asked are not applicable. How can you ask me about durability and battery life when I just purchased the item?
It was very easy to set up, works great and unlike a lot of reviews posted on it there is no problem with setting it in the cradle and making the recharging connection.
I purchased it for my 82 year old mom so that she can watch TV late at night without disturbing others with the high volume she listens at. If she can work this item it is totally easy!

 | Sony Mdr-As20J Active Style Headphones with Soft Loop Hangers (Black)
sony headphone -- 2010-09-03 best running headphones so far! maybe because is comes with a clip, great idea! the left side tends to vibrate slightly in my left ear (it doesn't fall out), perhaps because i use earrings in that ear but, turn up the volume, and you can't really tell.
Quality is superb -- 2010-09-02 Earphones are exactly what i was looking for, These fit my Iphone and use them to work out. Great quality. Sony earphones will last a long time and they go through some heavy use.

 | Walkman Car Connecting Pack for MD Walkman and CD Walkman (Model# CPA-9C)
Horrible -- 2010-09-06 Horrible product. Had to return it. The sound quality is not very good. Has a lot of noise. The volume level is low. There is a constant hissing sound. I use the adapter that was ordered from meritline for 2 bucks does a great job.
This is a great product! -- 2010-08-27 I wanted to connect my iPod and iPhone to the speakers in my car, but my car is too old to have any input jacks. It has a tape player, though, and this connecting tape works PERFECTLY! I've tried several other things, but this one actually works. Insert tape, insert the jack into my iPhone, turn on my car's tape player, and listen to music or audio books. YEA!!! You will be very pleased with this connector.

 | Sony Mdr-E10Lp/Blk Headphones - Fashion Earbuds (Black)
Excellent buy! -- 2010-09-05 Ok, so there are earbuds with better bass - I splurged and spent $14 on the Sony PIIQ Exhales - but these Sonys have great clarity and an airy sound like open-air headphones that is really enjoyable and adds presence to recordings. Forget wedging something in your ear canal, these are excellent for the price. Much better than JVC Gumys.
Awesome earbuds -- 2010-08-21 Great range of sound, easily as loud as you could want, no popping/buzzing/clicking that some earbuds suffer at higher volumes. Impressively good bass, and they sit in my ears comfortably. Easy to forget you're wearing them.
Overall great value, these come highly suggested.
Very, VERY minor issue which might not affect ANYONE but me.
I think they may have a relatively low impedance, because if i plug in an amp (Pyle Pro PTA1000 1000 Watt DJ Amplifier, also from amazon) to the second headphone port on my laptop (more sophisticated sound cards prbly wouldn't have this happen) then the amp doesn't really get a signal, but if i unplug these earbuds, it instantly gets all the signal.

 | Sony Speaker Dock Clock Radio for iPod / iPhone (Black)
Volume -- 2010-08-16 I liked this clock radio except for one major thing and that was the volume. I use the alarm clock snooze feature at night and the difference between volume settings is so large that either I can't hear it or can't sleep.
Sony Dream machine -- 2010-08-07 Love it. Has dual alarms. Sound quality is pretty good. Small enough to take when traveling, which is good. Would recommend to anyone.
