 | iriver AFT 100 Mobile FM Transmitter
awesome FM transmitter -- 2010-03-12 Works with ease; sound quality is very good - better than other transmitters I've tried in the past. An excellent value.
Not too bad - reasonably priced, too -- 2010-03-11 Well, I continue my search for an FM transmitter that works good and doesn't fail. So far, so good with this iRiver model (I just got this one about 4 days ago, so will do an update if it stops functioning).
This one is easy to use and works fine. The digital screen is pretty easy to read, except my lighter receptacle is located kind of low below the dashboard so I have to lean way over to read it. Not the safest while driving down the road. Another brand I tried in the past had a swivel screen, but that broke soon, probably because I moved it to view better. So at least this this iRiver will not have that problem!
On this transmitter, the sound quality is decent, it is easy to figure out and set three favorite settings, so I am a happy camper. It would be nice to have a model that would also charge my iPod; however, charging is not a major issue for me. (I take shorter trips of 1-2 hours - not all day drives).

 | iriver SPINN 8 GB Video MP3 Player (Silver)
good, but not very good -- 2010-03-06 some type of music listed , which I cannot play, like ape and flac files.
Overall a good player -- 2010-02-18 First of all I must say that the looks itself will make you buy this item. The Spinn feature is really attractive and easy to use for navigation and selection. Touchscreen is not that intuitive but works well. FM recording is also a good feature to look at. The sound quality is great. The video quality on 3.3 inch OLED screen is awesome. It is very light and portable. Overall a good player under $100.

Amazing -- 2010-02-12 This is by far the best player for the price. Amazing sound quality, unbeatable. The SRS-WOW effect is makes u actually feel the music. FM? u want it u got it with a very good stereo reception. I had also bought Sony MDR-ED21LP Fontopia In-The-Ear Headphones for 9 bucks and an arm band for 10 bucks, so for a total of 83 bucks. an amazing player with an amazing headphones and lol an alrite arm band. No dont think of watching movies in it. its not meant for that. some people say the buttons are weird yeah they are but i got used to it in one day. and people complain about the artists not coming in one order? well yeah they dont, i always put the songs in shuffle mode. so if anyone want to save money well dont wait too long to but it.
Los price for good quality -- 2010-02-05 The Lplayer is very portable, has very great sound quality, and easy to use. Not to mention that is has a good amount of space to store music and videos.

 | iriver SPINN 4 GB Video MP3 Player (Silver)
good, but mixed feelings -- 2010-01-09 using a netbook with no dvd drive, I couldn't used the mini-cd that came with
it to install the necessary software (no problem until this point)
downloading iriver plus3 (comparable to ipod's itunes) and firmware was a bit confusing, but it was still alright
btw you can just drag and drop like a usb drive
but, i didn't understand the ums mode and mtp mode at first,
which got me very frustrated along with other things that
I was thinking whether I should return it,
however once I got it all figured out,
I am actually quite satisfied with how cool this device actually is,
especially for the price at 70 bucks,
coming from korea where this was made,
it was easier for me to get new themes at a users forum at a korean website
(themes solved the issue of small album arts and small play-forward etc buttons)
all in all, i am satisfied,
but I am pretty sure that many might find the process I went through
a very frustrating one
Great Budget Media Player! -- 2010-01-04 I like the way how iRiver takes different approaches to navigation with their media players and the Spinn is no exception. While the navigation may not be as intuitive as it's predecessor - the Clix, the wheel/touch screen combination is still easy and fun to use. The player supports a wide variety of audio and video formats and the playback quality is very good. The Spinn also supports flash based games and themes but unfortunately you won't find much information from iRiver on where to download them. The only issue that I have had with the player so far is that transferred music would not appear on the Spinn unless I went into setup and chose to rebuild the library. Fortunately I found that if I changed the connection type under setup to MTP it corrected the issue. I also highly recommend upgrading the player's firmware with the included software to 2.10 or greater which includes a number of enhancements including support for larger album artwork which looks great on it's 3.3" OLED screen.

 | iriver E150 8 GB Digital Media Player (Black)
Outstanding Value, BUT... -- 2010-01-12 Package is nicely sized for the unit. It is not overpackaged and doesn't come in a big plastic bubble you have to hacksaw your way into. The E150 has good form and fit, a clean appearance and unusual for any mp3 player or small electronics, it has fitted covers for its USB and sD slots to keep out dust dirt and moisture.
Quality of output sound from the player is very good, and output power is comparable to the iPod but earphones are minimal, below quality of average mp3 player units especially at higher frequencies. No big deal if you already have good earphones.
It is too big to be a clip-on type of unit. It is about twice the size and mass of the iPOD nano. It has a comparable play-per-charge. It has too many functions to be simple. It has six major modes of operation: Music, Video, Picture, FM Radio, Text, Record.
The interface is clutzy and non-intuitive. The main controls are 4 directional buttons which are beneath the plastic surface of the unit, centered on a square select button. The controls often do not respond on first push, maybe bad debouncing circuitry? User Manual is basic but could be clearer. For instance, the main navigation buttons to be used are installed as I said below the flat plastic cover, around the square select button. They are indicated by small barely visible caret figures made up of black dots. It wasn't obvious to me that you push on the flat surface where the caret symbols were and the manual didn't make an effort to clue one in.
Radio has awkward tuning controls, one must hit the 'up' button for higher freqs instead of the more intuitive 'right', 'down' instead of 'left'.
But if you are patient, the E150 does many tricks, plays many formats of music, has a good radio, plays videos, stores and shows various data formats.
AND It has two notable interfaces in addition to all the others:
1) It has a slot for microsD cards- the same idea as on the Sansa clip+. The E150 manual indicates that a card is to be installed when the E150 is off. in order to hear music on extenal card you must go to MUSIC>Dir List and select External (versus Internal). This is awkward.
2) It has a line-in input. It can take 2-channel input from an external source and capture it for playback in Windows Media format. I am not aware of ANY other comparable unit with this feature.
CONCLUSION: Well worth the money if you use it, but not likely to remain in the marketplace because it is not obvious how to use it and it isn't being promoted heavily. It wouldn't surprise me to learn that it isn't being made any more.
Construction Quality is adequate but I suspect not durable.

 | iriver E100 8 GB Multimedia Player (Sky Blue)
OK Sound/Video, TERRIBLE navigation -- 2010-02-16 Pros:
sound and Video are pretty good.
Cons:
Navigation is clumsy, Laborious and loses it's position in the folder structure
when you use radio.
Video loses its space if you stop and power off. (Although you can add a bookmark)
Froze up on me twice (but rarely)
----
It's almost like creators couldn't be bothered about efficient usability. They
were lazy and gave it little thought.
This is my third Iriver and this one has lost it for me. I bought a Sony instead.
I gave it 3 stars because as much as i HATE this player, its core operation
is OK (Sound and Video) and some beople might not be worried too much about its bad
navigation. It's just my opinion.
A little confusing but it gets the job done. -- 2009-11-25 Overall I'm satisfied with it. I still don't know how to make a playlist. But I know how to play my songs. I haven't figured out how to make the mp3 player connect with the iriver software the player comes with. This provides a level of frustration for me, since I thought I would be able to organize my songs extensively. But I was the "informed consumer " so any dissatisfaction is my fault. For the most part I like it. Now would I recommend it? I don't know.
But its still simple enough understand how to preform its functions. I just have that one problem with trying to organize my music. It could just be me, but in end I am satisfied with my mp3 player.

 | iriver AFT-200 FM Transmitter/Charger for Clix and U10 Players
iriver AFT-200 FM transmitter -- 2009-07-06 This product is great. This is my second iriver AFT-200 FM transmitter. My first one died after almost 3 years! I like it because it will transmit over many stations even those with semi strong signals. I am in NYC where almost every channel has some sort of broadcast, the irviver will transmit over it. Trust me I know crappy tranmsitters I have the zune transmitter and it barely works, i now use it only to charge my zune in the car!!!! The iriver is cheap and it won't go wrong if it works in a city like ny it will work everywhere!
iriver radio adapter -- 2008-06-21 The radio adapter is relatively easy to use. The only thing that can be problematic is you have to use a radio station not currently in local use. Unfortunately I have found in some cars that there is no option to automatically tune your radio, it only has the scan/seek button so you can never get to a point where you have a non-receptive station. That is more of a car issue than anything. Aside from that I have no complaints.
