 | Philips SHS5200 Reflective Neckband Headphones
Great Buy! -- 2010-03-10 This is my second pair of these headphones that I have owned. I wanted a pair of headphones that I could wear at work for long periods of time which wouldn't mess up my hair. I looked around for a long time before deciding to purchase these both times and I simply could not find a better value or anything that suited my needs better.
Pros:
High Quality Cord (not cheap plastic)
Cord on one side only
High quality sound
Great value for the price
Behind the neck style will not mess up your hair
Snug fit. They do not fall off or move around easily
Cons:
A tad too tight for my taste.
Sound is only ok, comfort is great -- 2010-03-06 The behind the ear isnt for everyone but its pretty comfortable if you are active. Really stays in place while jogging or biking. i really liked the "pull" resistance. But, the sound quality disappoints. It has to do with the fact that it doesnt seal in the sound to your ear contour nor that it just doesnt put out great sound - even if you press the headphones to your ear.
very promising, but could be better.

 | Philips SHS3200/37 Flexible Earhook with Bud (Black)
Best ACTIVE Headphones -- Cheap -- 2010-03-10 I've tried a variety of headphones [twist in / iPod / in ear etc. etc.].... and
I would say these are BETTER than the rest SIMPLY because they won't fall out when you move around (ie. Working out / running etc.)
Nothing too fancy, BUT if you DON'T want to REposition your headphones every time you take a step, I'd recommend these.
Great Value for the $$.
I Get That With No Pain There Is No Gain, but OUCH! -- 2010-02-23 I've started running, specifically so I can get into road ready condition by the end of this spring. So every night I'm on the treadmill laboring away. I got the right shoes & clothes as you need to be comfortable and flexible. I love my little ipod but I needed headphones to run in. My others were just not staying in with all the jarring. I ordered these. Ok, before I get lynched for not giving you a complete review here it is - they look and sound great for the price. My complaints are simple: they wear poorly (unless you have monstrously large ears with the hooks) & the buds themselves scrape the interior of my ear. Yeah, I said it, s-c-r-a-p-e. With each bounce and stride they pinch, poke, and scrape along the inside curvature of my ear to the point where I can barely stand it. So if pain is your motivator for a work out these will do. I will shop around and see if I can find ones not so painful.

 | Philips DC315/37 Speaker System for iPod/iPhone with LED Clock Radio (Black)
Very Good Alarm Clock -- 2010-03-09 I use this together with my ipod nano as an alarm clock. When the alarm goes off, the volume starts quietly and gradually increases which is nice. The dimmer has 3 brightness settings and the lowest one is dim enough so that it doesn't illuminate the room excessively at night. I really like the look of this system. The only thing that could be improved is the button placement on the left side which is a bit awkward.
Works great - wake up to internet radio! -- 2010-03-01 I originally posted this as an answer to one of the other reviews here, but then thought I should post an actual review so others could find it. I wanted to let everyone know that I have had no trouble using this with my ipod Touch 2nd generation OR my iPhone 3gs. It works great. I use it primarily with the ipod Touch hooked to the internet via the wireless connection to my home router. I can now wake up to Pandora, the NPR ap... love it! Also, I've had no trouble with the on/off switch or the snooze button. Took me a minute or so to figure out how to program the thing. If there is one thing that could be improved, it would be the instructions.

 | Philips SHS8000 Premium Sound Earhook Headphones
nice! -- 2010-03-06 Very good sounding earphones. Three different sizes to fit your ear. They really cancel out alot of noise. Not sure about durability. Time will tell.
Best fitting earbuds I've ever had, too bad they break -- 2010-02-20 I really love the way these earbuds fit, and the sound quality is decent. When my first pair died, I bought another just because I've never had earbuds that fit me this well before.
Unfortunately, it hasn't been that long since I bought the second pair and now it's breaking in the same way. The problem is with the connector. Since it's straight up and down (not right angle like some other headphones) there's no way to avoid occasionally "bending" it a little bit and over time it breaks down. With the second pair I was very, very careful to avoid putting tension on the connector, and it seems to have lasted longer than the first pair, but there just doesn't seem to be any way to avoid the eventual damage.
I'm wondering if it would be better to get these headphones again with a warranty, or to buy some low-end Shure earbuds...
Update: I contacted Philips customer support, and they've promised to replace them (since they're less than 1 year old) I'll update again once I receive the replacements with a turnaround time.
Update 2: 13 days between sending in my warranty request and receiving the new pair. Not too shabby!

 | Philips GoGear 4 GB Vibe MP3 Video Player with 1.5-Inch Color Screen
great buy -- 2010-03-10 I just bought the phillips gogear vibe, yesterday. I'm technically challenged, so this was easy peasy for me! I needed to get music off my work computer and I just plugged it in and transferring was easy. I haven't read the instruction manual so I don't know what I need the installation cd for. It has served the purpose that I bought it for.
Enjoyed it while it worked -- 2010-03-05 I put my first go gear vibe through the washing machine and killed it. I liked it enough to buy another one. Unfortunately the second one I bought only lasted about 60 days before it died. It wasn't dropped or anything. It just died. A total waste of money.

 | Philips SHE5920 Virtual Surround Sound In-Ear Headphones
Not recommended earphones! -- 2010-03-04 I basically love to hear audio with good bass response. Well these headphones are really bad and terrible in bass response. Moreover, the earphones just pops out every now and then. As it says virtual surround sound, it doesnt even come close to anything surround. I wouldnt recommend this product to anyone.
Truly a $10 pair -- 2010-02-17 I have been trying out tons of headphones and earbuds, and these fall into the category that they're priced at. Not to mention they're Philips, and not that I have any gripes with Philips per say, but sometimes it's just better if certain companies stick to what they're good at. In this case, these headphones have a few noticeable drawbacks that make them a pair that is only for test purposes, because I would never use these for actual listening unless I was forced to.
Pros-
These headphones can get pretty loud, which for some people now-a-days is a necessity I'm sure.
The vocals sound fairly decent with these headphones, and the mids and high aren't too bad for a $10 pair.
These headphones are fairly comfortable, although I wouldn't recommend them for any kind of aerobic activity as they tend to fall out.
Cons-
They claim these speakers recreate surround sound, but truly all I could gather is that there is a slight echo in the music now, and if you have a pair you know what I mean. When I'm listening to these it sounds as if all the bands are performing in an empty concert hall, and to me that is very distracting.
The headphones have an audible hiss/distortion during some rock/metal songs, and that is an automatic turn off for me.
There is pretty much no bass with these headphones, so get ready to hear what you should be feeling.
The earbuds are actually kind of big, but they don't produce the kind of quality that you'd expect for their size, which again is reasonable considering the price tag.
Overall-
If you're looking for a cheap upgrade from your stock MP3 Player's headphones, go for it, these will definitely be better (unless you buy a Zune).
If you're looking for an actually decent pair of headphones, or if you're serious about music do not buy these, it will end in disappointment.
If you've got a budget, but still want better sound or more bass, look at some Altec Lansing or Lift Audio earbuds instead, you'll be better off.

 | Philips SHS3201/37 Flexible Earhook w/ Bud -White
Head phones -- 2010-03-08 Product is good. Works well and the fit well and are great for working out at the gym
Fine for at first, then painful -- 2010-02-20 These are painful to wear for any extended peroid of time. I have average sized ears and they start to really hurt after about half an hour or so.

 | Philips SHE5910 Virtual Surround Sound In-Ear Headphones
Great bargain buds -- 2010-03-10 I bought these on a quick buy because my wife and I were going on a trip, and I forgot my other headphones. I wanted decent ear buds without paying a lot for them. These have turned out to be a great buy. I have found the sound quality to be pretty good. While they cannot compete with over the ear headphones, they get the job done pretty well. Last night I purchased a pair of skullcandy smokin' ear buds, and the sound quality of the smokin' ear buds were about equal to these, which disappointed me greatly. I took them back right away. Why pay 35 bucks for those headphones if you can pay 10-15 for these?
Fit:
Ear buds generally do not agree with me. The old style really wears my ear canal out, but these have extended the length of time that I can listen to music with ear buds. The rubber (or silicon) tips that go in your ear are flexible enough to fit in your ear but stiff enough to withstand constant manipulating without tearing or ripping. They still hurt after long periods of use, but they are better than the old, round style.
One side of the cord is longer than the other. I'm a dummy, so it took me a while to figure out the reason behind it. The longer side (right side) goes behind your neck so you can put the mp3 player on your hip or side pocket. I have begun to like this design because the buds seem to stay in better like this when I am outside playing with the dog or working.
Overall, if you are looking for a cheap pair of headphones that deliver better than average sound, I would recommend these for your consideration. They're not going to be as great as some of the more expensive ear buds, but they are great if you do not want to drop a whole lot of coin.
Good Phones for at home. -- 2010-02-16 I bought these phones one day when I thought I'd lost my other Philips headphones. I was out and didn't feel like going home to get another pair. I paid $14 at WalMart.
These phones come with two pairs of semi-hard rubber ear canal thingies. I tried the smaller of the two first and the darn things wouldn't stay in, which was sad because the sound it amazingly good. Then I found the other set of rubber things and put them on. AMAZING difference. They don't fall out and I can wear them for many hours without any discomfort, a real problem for me with most headphones.
They are light and the cord always stays plugged in nicely unlike some cheaper phones I have. I like the zippered case that came with them too, it keeps them wound up and out of the way when I don't need them.
I've had them for about two years now and they still work great. now they are primarily used with my Netbook because I got others for the MP3 players that are a bit easier to use while moving. The asymmetrical cord takes a bit of getting used to.
Overall these are very good headphones, made better by the low price.

 | Philips HN 110 Folding Noise-Canceling Headphones
ripped off -- 2010-03-02 Got ripped off, paid for this item from acehardwareoutlet seller and never got it. Got an email from Amazon costumer service saying someone accepted this item, and there was an acceptance signature. Well, right now someone is enjoying this headphone paid by me. I strongly suggest not doing business with them. I am also disappointed with Amazon costumer service.
fair -- 2010-02-25 The Noise Cancellation is totally useless , but for the price , you get what you pay for

 | Philips SHN9500 Active Noise-Canceling Headphone
Beautiful body, rotten soul -- 2010-03-08 This is the third active noise reduction (ANR) headphones that I have purchased from Phillips. The first pair was so good I bought them again when I accidentally pulled the wires out of the lead. This time I thought I would spend a little bit more, and was pleasantly surprised at the amenities I got for a few extra dollars. A hard case to carry the headphones (which fold up slightly), and a removable chord that told me I was not going to be striping the wires any more.
However, one month into using them, my right ear speaker started to sound scratchy, then, out of the blue, the ANR portion of the head phones (the whole reason I bought them) stopped working all together. Unfortunately I am in Afghanistan and am unable to send my purchase back. I will be discussing these issues with the manufacturer.
Do not work -- 2010-03-07 DOA. The noise canceling feature does not work, instead a loud static noise attempts to cover the ambient noise... a new concept.
Philips does not manufacture them anymore, all I could get as a replacement was a different model, worth half what I paid for these ones.
