 | Sennheiser HD 202 Headphones
Hard to beat these for the money -- 2010-03-10 These are fantastic cans for the money. The sound is not quite as precise or spacious as my Sennheiser HD 280s, but at 1/3 the price of the 280s, it's hard to complain.
I like the long, un-spiraled cord and the simple, comfortable design.
Great Headphones for $25 -- 2010-03-07 These are great headphones for $25. You can buy replacement leather earpads for when they get worn, but sennheiser charges ~$10 FOR a pair. Not as good as inear earbuds. You need to crank up the volume, to get the same loudness as an inear earbud. Also bass isn't very good. Overall, though way better than ipod earbuds.

 | Panasonic RP-HT21 Lightweight Headphones with XBS port for increased bass response
For the price, great bet! -- 2010-02-28 My son tears things up, so I wanted to get him some headphones that were decent but that if he ruined them in a few months, I wouldn't mind too terribly much. These were cheap! But all in all, they aren't bad!
He had no complaints about the sound quality (not that he really cares all that much), but he said sometimes they get a little static-y and he has to wiggle the cord.
For the cost of these, they are well worth it if you, like me, have a kiddo who tends to break things or not take great care of stuff and you want to test them out on a cheap item before you spend too much money. This is a good choice.
decent buy -- 2010-02-21 Sound quality not as good as expected, BUT the highs are more clear and less muddy than the ipod earbuds, bass is about the same as ipod's but can hit lower frequencies, and overall i prefer them over the ipod's. They dont fit as snug as i would like. The price is the real reason to buy these- i would never stuff my nice headphones in my backpack or go biking or snowboarding with them, which is what i use these are for.

 | Koss PortaPro Headphones with Case
I am VERY impressed .... -- 2010-03-08 Recently the pads on my Sony Noise-Canceling headphones had become very badly worn, and since they weren't terribly comfortable WITH the pads, I decided it was time to get some replacements. After asking around for suggestions from my Audiophile friends, and looking around on the web, I found a list on [...] of their picks for the 5 BEST headphones for use with portable music players. These were on there along with a lot of other headphones that costs LOTS more (Specifically the Bose QC2 & QC3.) And they listed the retail of these at around $50.00. Since that was about what my Sony's cost - I started looking around & found them on Amazon for just about $30.00 ! So I figured it was a pretty clear "can't lose" situation, and ordered them. Oh, how right I was ...
First off, even though the delivery estimate was 6-10 days, I got them 3 days after placing my order. They were smaller than I expected, but I very anxiously brought them down to where my laptop was (since that is where they will be used the most,) started up my favorite Internet Radio Station ([...]) plugged them in & put them on. All I can say is WOW ! They sounded SO much better than my Sony's the difference was startling. The bass response was HUGE & the fullness of the mid range & highs created an almost surround-sound environment. And no matter how loud I cranked the volume, I couldn't detect ANY distortion. I can honestly say they are far & away the best sounding headphones I have ever had - and to get that kind of sound from a pair of $30.00 portables is astounding !
My only complaints about the phones has to do with their folding form-factor. They are designed to fold in towards the headband with the ends clipping together to form a loop. Trouble is, they still just BARELY fit in the leatherette bag provided to carry them in. And most of the time while putting them away, they have a tendency to spring back open, which complicates extraction. But this is a small detail I can definitely live with.
One other note, I thought I'd pass along. The drivers these headphones use are also used by several of Koss' less expensive headphones as well. So it is very likely that you could find a $15-20 pair of Koss headphones at your local WalMart on a rack with all the low-end Sony, Skull Candy, & Memorex headphones, and STILL get the same sound quality that you can have with the PortaPros. I can't vouch for the headphones construction though.
Bottom line is, for the price I cannot imagine finding a BETTER pair of headphones than these. If you're in the market I would definitely recommend these above anything else. You will NOT be disappointed
An absolute steal for the price -- 2010-03-07 These headphones are fantastic. I bought them because I had only used earbuds prior and felt that listening to music on serious headphones would be a good idea. When I got them I was blown away. They are not the best headphones ever, but for 35 bucks the quality is sky high. The fold-up apparatus is nifty and useful, so I seriously recommend them to anyone in the market for great headphones.

 | Sony MDR-XD200 Stereo Headphones
Good head phone. Great sound!! -- 2010-03-09 I give this head phone a BIG thumbs-up. Sound quality is really good. Though, the cord is too long.
Good sound, but all plastics noises are no good -- 2010-03-03 Well I bought it five months ago. Just to listen to music in my pc without have to spend too much with noise cancelling phones.
The sound is great. Soooo much better than my iphone in-ear and one Samson Samson CH700 Closed-Back Studio Headphones.
The sound of this phone have good bass and volume.
ok, it's a cheap phone, but all the parts in plastic together make some noise everytime you move the head. But if you like loud and heavy sound like me, this won't be a real problem :D!
The arc in top of the head make it touch your hair everytime and hurt a little bit... sometimes I have to take it and give my head some rest.
Maybe a little of leather protection can solve this issue.
But with this price there are few options with a good bass sound.
Try it, but not as your main phone.
As a main phone I recommend the MDR-V6 Sony MDR-V6 Monitor Series Headphones with CCAW Voice Coil
Rock and Roll!!!!!

 | Sennheiser HD-280 Professional Headphones
Very good product -- 2010-03-11 The sound is good. Just don't do what I did and buy in inferior portable CD player that stops the player due to even a small shock. It works well with my ipod.
Extraordinary Headphones -- 2010-03-10 I travel the globe for work as a stagehand. I am an audiophile by nature. When on a 7 month tour the only thing you ever truly miss is privacy. For audiophiles it is important to hear your favorite music w/o any interruptions.
This is my first pair of monitor quality headphones. So as to there quality for use in a sound studio, I cannot say. If I was an upcoming/Hobbyist DJ I would have to say they would probably be a good choice.
What I can say is that when you need to be able to hear your music in all the clarity and feel of a substantial home stereo system while on an airplane, hotel room or bus then these are what you want.
When I first listened to the HD 280 Pro I heard the music almost for the first time. The clarity, the bass, the fact they are closed so that no outside noise can be heard......this also keeps your music in(which makes for happy roommates, and in flight neighbors), I was completely elated.
If I knew how much I would love listening to these headphones before I bought them I would have happily paid full price.
As to their durability, I have only owned them for a month. They do feel well built, and soundly constructed.
They are big. It makes them somewhat challenging to leave on your person when transitioning through an airport w/ a small messenger bag and medium backpack. Though the size is why they are so comfortable to wear and also why they sound so good.
I would not change anything about this product.
All in all if a quality listening experience while on the go is what you are looking for than these are your headphones.

 | Skullcandy SCS-SCBP3.5 Skullcrushers Subwoofer Stereo Headphones (Black Pinstripe)
DO NOT BUY THESE HEADPHONES IF YOU CARE ABOUT ANYTHING OTHER THAN BASS -- 2010-03-10 These headphones have no midrange whatsoever. They look cool, but the sound is awful. I should have actually *read* the reviews instead of just looking at the ratings. If you read them, you'll see that many are from younger folks who really only care about the base. Not that there's anything wrong with that...
A much better set of headphones for the same price--albeit missing the noise cancelling aspect that come with an over the ear model like the Skullcrusher--is the Koss Portapro.
Failure in 100 hours or less -- 2010-03-07 The product worked quite well for about 60-80 hours. Then a speaker went bad and a set of headphones with only one fully operational speaker is a waste.

 | Beats by Dr. Dre High-Definition Studio Headphones from Monster
4th Pair because of defects -- 2010-03-09 I have had a lot of trouble with my Beats,
1. The first pair of beats cracked in the plastic while I removing them from my head with both hands in my home.
2. The second pair had a problem where the little screws stripped and the plastic loosened up and the stainless steel wouldn't adjust anymore.
3. The third pair (yesterday) has a switch failure, the little switch to turn on the Dre's must have broken inside because it has no resistance and will not turn the headset on or off anymore.
This product is very fragile and should be treated like a piece of antique china or you will be on hold for 30-40 minuets like i have 3 times now in 4 months! At this price, they should be made out of titanium or be able to last over a month without breaking.!
Best Headphones I've ever owned. -- 2010-03-06 These headphones are excellent. The sound is amazing from classical to hip hop they sound great. The studio headphones are very nice looking with the piano black gloss finish, it is however a magnet for fingerprints. The microfiber included with it helps clean it up with ease. The great thing about these headphones is that it comes with two cords, a red one that is perfect length for me and one for use with a mobile phone (iPhone). The mobile cord doesn't allow for volume control but it allows you to answer calls and play pause and switch your tracks without having to use your phone. The detachable cord scheme is really nice because if you snag the cord it won't damage the headphones because it simply detaches. There is a button on the right side of the headphones that will mute and turn off isolation so you can hear your surroundings. I must say that using these headphones are perfect in noisy environments because they isolate the surrounding background noise so all you hear is crisp audio. These headphones are very high quality and are extremely comfortable, I tried my old Sennheiser headphones the other day and they were they were terrible compared to the studio beats. Theses headphones definitely have the ability to be loud so be careful about blasting it. They do leak compared to other headphones though. It's not too much of a problem for me but for some people it might be a turn off. The headphones also fold up so they can be stored, it fits perfectly in the semi hard case that comes with it. The packaging that Monster bundled it was very nice, very similar to Apple. I've spent a lot of money buying earbuds and a quite a bit for headphones but they were all mediocre. These headphones are expensive though, just save up $20 a week like I did and you'll be able to afford them.
My only gripes are that they are expensive and that they require batteries. But if you're spending $250+ on headphones you should listen to your music in isolation which is mandatory with the studio beats. Another minor annoyance for me was that the switch to turn it on is reversed that is that you push the switch backwards, you'll get used to it after a while though. If you are someone that loves to listen to lossless audio or music that is 320 kb/s or better these headphones are perfect because they don't distort the music. They play music just the way they were meant to be played.

 | Sennheiser HD-555 Audiophile Headphones
superb headphones -- 2010-03-11 These headphones are superb. The sound is outstanding, clear, natural, well-defined, and spacious. Using these headphones, I can hear some details in music that I miss when listening to speakers (high quality speakers). These headphones are very comfortable, and comfort is very important to me. I can even wear them over my eyeglasses with no problem at all.
Note: These headphones use a "open" design, meaning you may sometimes hear sounds around you while you use them, esp when listening to quiet passages of music. If your primary goal is to block out all outside sounds, these are not the headphones for you. This is not a problem for me using them at home with normal ambient noise levels. Also, the open design means someone nearby may sometimes hear sound coming from the headphones - but the level is very low and can only be heard by someone very close by, within a few feet or so. Again, this is not a problem for me or the person with whom I share a medium-size apartment. For me, the open design is not a problem at all, and I recommend these headphones very highly for their outstanding sound quality and comfort.
Initial Review + Burned In Review -- 2010-03-06 I figured I would write a review from the first day I got them and then after about a few months use.
First Day:
1.Sound Quality is very similar to my old Razer Barracuda's with just a little bit better clarity.
2.Comfort is the best thing I've ever felt. They fit perfectly around my ears. I can still feel them on my head which is good. The Barracuda's were comfortable but I couldn't feel them at all.
3.I can hear things that I couldn't hear before in my music, like Maracas and emotion from the singer's voice and background singers voices very clear.
4.Long cord is awesome for listening at the computer because I was constantly moving my short cord on my old earphones.
5.Big end on cord is good for other things such as metal detector and stuff, I can't wait til I try them on something like that.
6.The style is pretty nice.
7.Price is on par with how nice they are even on the first day, but I've read many places that after a few month's use they only get better which is awesome.
8.These earphones make you feel like your really there. I was watching LOTR for a little and the rain dropping felt like I was right next to it, and in my video game my soldier's were walking through water and it felt like I was the one doing that. No exaggeration here either. Everything is so clear and you can hear everything. If you know what movie theatre sound's like nowadays when you watch it, it kinda feels like that but a little better because they are right on your ear. Especially digital movies they have now. I would say listening to music and watching movies are 10/10 and playing games is 9/10 so far and they aren't even burned in yet! I am sure they will all reach at least a 15/10 by the time they are burned in.
9.This is my first pair of "Audiophile" earphones and I am happy with this purchase. If they only get better from now that is awesome because they do sound very nice.
First Week Usage:
1.I can already tell that the sound is getting better just after 2 days of having these phones. Clarity is so much better and I can hear details a little better. Not as drastic now, but I can already tell a difference. If they are this good now, I can't wait until they are fully burned in like other people say. Definately worth the price now.
2.I was curious and I did the Mod for the phones that takes out that felt piece behind the sound driver. I have to say the headphones are so much clearer and all my movies feel like I am there, it is amazing. Listening to rain drop and walking through puddles and gunfire in Saving Private Ryan is so unreal. It also made my music not as high pitched. I like how they sound so much better now.

 | Koss KSC75 Portable Stereophone Headphones
Really good, really inexpensive headphones -- 2010-03-08 This is our second pair of Koss KSC75 headphones. After a LOT of use, one of the wires failed. Sound is superb, comfort is very good and the behind-the-head style is great for keeping the 'phones on your head and not messing up your hair. Can't be beat for 16 bucks or so. Highly recommended.
Pretty Good Earphones for Working Out -- 2010-03-07 I bought these earphones for working out only, so most of this review is based on my experience with them working out. Naturally i understand there are some really great earphones on the market that can make you think that your in the same room at the musician. Those earphones are not going to be the ones that your going to work out with. There are some people out there that pay a hundred dollars for earphones just to work out in! But why when you can spend less then 15$ on these nice little Koss earphones. For most people who dont have money to burn i recommend these little guys. Like i said they are less than 15$ and they have very impressive sound quality for such a good less expensive earphone. They are also comfortable as well with a nice semi soft rubber sleeve on the plastic loop that goes around the top of you ear. The earphones do a really good job of staying right were you put them no matter what you do as well. So comfort, sound quality, and price are the main focal point of these earphones. But there are some draw backs that are not deal breakers in any way but must be mentioned. First the earpads are your typical foam cushions. Those do get sweaty especially if you sweat alot. Ive seen some out in the market that are a type of really soft rubber that helps with the sweat but i dont know how weird that would feel having wet rubber on your ears. At the same time i know how wet foam feels on the ears and it feels a little wierd too. I guess i would rather have the foam though because it adds the comfort that is important to me and koss makes 3 packs of foam ear replacements for only about 3$ so its no big deal. I just worry that one day the sweat may ruin one of the earphones, but thats why 15$ is a better investment in earphones when you work out. Next, this is me kind of nit picking but sony has a 40$ pair of new earphones for working out that has what they call an extension for the earphones. In other words if you have you mp3 player in an armband and you put these earphones on...you can disconnect the extension which is in the middle of the cord connected to the earphones and you'll have another 3.5mm plug there that can go into your armband. While at the same time the cord is very short and perfect for working out with an armband. If these Koss had that i would never buy another pair for working out. But they do not and i have to wrap the cord about the mp3 player. If your really big on looks then i dont know how you will like these koss. They are not really stream line so when you put them on your ears they do come out a little. Looks like the top of a hamburger bun on the side of your ear just not as big. Dont get me wrong they are light so you wont feel them and really who is going to care what they look like when they are covered in sweat. One last thing...Koss offers a lifetime warranty on these little babies but i think that is standard on all there equipment. Just a little perk i wanted to add. So overall i really like these earphones after using now for about three weeks. So dont be worried about getting these, they will be great for everyday casual use and working out if that is what your looking for. But if you feel that you need the Best looking, sounding, smallest, and most expensive earphones on the market to work out in...then your not hitting the gym hard enough cupcake. Go back to your starbucks and enjoy!

 | Audio-Technica ATH-ES7 Portable Headphones, Black
Ath-Es7, My Flashing Lights -- 2010-02-24 After searching on different forums for a reliable, high quality headphone to replce my old sennheiser PX-200's, i came to the conclusion that the ATH-ES&'s were by far the best choice.
If you are like me and are looking for:
High Quality Sound
Aesthetic quality aka Style
Durability and Portability
Affordability aka Medium Price Range
than these are honestly the perfect headphones for you. The sleek minimalistic design of these audio technica headphones conceals a powerhouse in sound. Lows are pronounced and clear, Highs are sharp and enunciated, the Bass is amazing, etc, etc. I bought them for about 100 dollars with tax, but with the price reduction ther are even more worth it. For their current low price there really is no other viable alternative if you want headphones with power, flash, and strength. Get Them!
The only problem I had with these headphones didn't come from the the headphones themselves, but the company distributing them to me.I ordered the headphones in black and was fully expecting them to be in black when i got them. They weren't. Luckily for them, I was already on the ropes between the black and the white pair so it didn't matter to me that i had gotten the wrong colored headphones. I guess the only warning i have is it's possible you'll get shipped the wrong model and if you care, be ready to ship them back if necessary.
In Conclusion: I love my ATH-ES7's and I am completely satisfied with them, and when/if you get them you will be too.
Stylish and super sexy sound -- 2010-02-23 pros:
1. Stylish looks
2. AWESOME SOUND. Really good in that department. Bass is punchy and deep. Treble is crystal clear. Although sound separation is not very good. But I like it. Its not too analytical. Better than the porta pro. Imaging is somewhat there, some what not there. Sound stage is so so I think.
3. It looks fragile at the connection points.
Cons:
1. Uncomfortable
2. Flashy, I would have liked a matt finish. But these are not that bad.
