Cheap, Simple, Works -- 2010-08-30
It's cheap, it's simple, and it does it's job. What more could you ask for? Stereo output instead of splitting the left and right channels and it does not hurt the sound quality. I use this with my iPod Nano and iPhone and have not had any problems. I recommend this!
Works like you expect -- 2010-08-24
WYSIWYG. Plug it into an MP3 player, and share your tunes with a friend. Plug it into a computer and watch a movie with another (provided you both have 3.5mm jack headphones). I first bought this years ago so that my wife and I could watch a movie on a portable player together while we waited to board our plane. I just so happened to see it here on Amazon, and remembered using it the other day to watch a movie with the wife, on the family tv, so as to not disturb the kids. Very simple design, how can you go wrong? Components do not seem cheaply made.

Just what the teacher needed! -- 2010-08-24
I just got this splitter and tried it in my classroom. I love it! I needed listening centers for my students and could not afford traditional listening centers, so I ordered just one of the Belkin headphone splitters to be sure it worked. This is perfect! For the price it's unbeatable. I had a couple dozen free pairs of earbuds from an airline that was giving them away. I plugged in 5 sets of earbuds to the CD player with the splitter and poof! instant listening center. I am online ordering 2 more! Yes, it's true that the volume decreased after the second pair of earbuds were connected, but the sound quality was perfectly fine for what I am using it for.

I like to listen to my ipod at work but I also need to be able to listen to my computer sometimes. I used to have to unplug my headphones and switch them between iPod and computer. Well, I don't have to do that anymore. I just mute the source I don't want to listen to and switch when I want to listen to the other source. It really is the best thing I've ever purchased.
PROS:
Sound quality is great even when playing multiple sources at the same time.
Ability to have headphones OR devices plugged into it.
And the PRICE!
CONS:
It took took about 20 hours to get to me after I ordered it. I would have liked it earlier. HHAHAHA This thing has NO cons.

I was able to SAVE my cordless headset for watching TV in the coach and therefore save my marriage TOO. The cushions fit just fine and I have a set to use next time too.

I was looking for a device so that my wife and I could use watching video on my new iPad while flying. This works very well. It is compact, and I detected no degradation of the sound.
Sturdy and High Quality -- 2010-08-12
I used this adapter on my iPad during a flight and it worked great.
Stereo sound is preserved, and I haven't noticed any reduction in volume or sound quality.
It seems like it'll last a long time, unlike those really cheap ones you can find at Walmart or Radio Shack that break after a few uses.

Shipping was fast. They fit snug on my earphones which is great because all my other covers tend to slip easily. It also fits comfortably in my ear. It's a good product for its value.

I'm usually not able to insert the Ipod earphones in my ears without covers. They keep falling off. The Belkin earbud covers are easy to use, and allow the earphones to stay in my ears without disturbing sound quality!

I'll keep this short. This product is great, comes packaged well, adds volume and clarity, is well built and helps your audio all for $20. There's nothing else really to say except that if you keep reading reviews on this after you read my review, well... you're just wasting time.

 | Koss VC20 Volume Control
Doesn't do what package says -- 2010-08-29
I bought this item to help boost the volume just a little for my Zune 30. The MS Zune ipod is a great little thing but just doesnt have the volume needed to watch some low volume videos. Ten years ago I loved my Koss volume control with my sony cassette walkman, it made everything Super loud. The new one on the package it says "makes volume louder" but I cannot make it boost any sound on my Zune or Sony CD walkman, tried with both earbud and over ear phones and the result is always just a slight volume loss (between max with and without device). after purchase I broke down and bought the E5 headphone amp that cost only a little more.
If you need any extra volume this is not the device for you. This is perfect if you want an inline volume or extra length.
Not a stereo jack -- 2010-08-13
When I plugged in my stereo headphones I got nothing. I found I had to pull the plug out about half way and jiggle it around to make any contact. Then I got mono sound. Think someone installed the wrong jack during manufacture. Got a different brand elsewhere that works fine.

Excellent except for one issue -- 2010-08-25
This is a great accessory for your iPod earphones if you run. It really keeps the earphones in place when you're running. Even if you're sweating, you don't have to worry about the earphones falling off. The only issue (other than it can only be used with Apple's earphones) is actually putting the earbuds on. It's a bit of a hassle to wrap the earbuds around your ear before you start running, but it becomes much more difficult while you're running. Let's say you accidentally yank your earphone cord and the earpiece comes off your ear. Because of your sweat, it's super hard to put the earbuds back in place while you're running. You'll most likely stop and try to put the earbuds in place (which isn't that easy either).

You would think that it would fit. Unfortunately I did not find this to be the case.
The BudFits may stay on my ears but they do not keep the Apple earbuds inside my ears with any motion.
After trying several other solutions I found and recommend the Philips earhook headset SHH8006.
