poor sound quality -- 2010-03-10
I bought these recently and followed the directions to break them in. The earphones doesn't work very well when I use the bass booster setting on my ipod. I like the appearance and the fit is better than the normal ipod earphones, but the quality hasn't lived up to its hype!

i thought i would go out and buy me some nice headphones and not go out and buy 5 dollar headphones like i normally do so when i found this i was very happy in tell i used them. now they say you have to warm them up so i used them all day and i evan left them on at night and still the sound quality sounded bad all my audio is window loss-less and not mp3 so i thought the sound quality would be great their is no base and i mean like none the look of the product is really cool but im not just looking for looks. so after about a month using this product i went out and bought some 5 dollar headphones at big lots and i couldn't be happier. anyone who is thinking of buying and think they should buy this i have one tip for you don't go by looks

Meh -- 2010-03-10
For $10, you can't beat them, however, don't be expecting GREAT sound. While these do beat out the iPod ear buds, they aren't as good as the Skullcandy Titans (See my review there) I bought at the same time. I figured for how cheap these were, I would give them a shot. Might as well have an extra pair of decent buds in case I lost or broke my other ones. The tips aren't as soft as other silicon tips I have tried, so they don't make a great seal in my ears. Maybe with some Comply foam tips these will be better. Even so, when I do get them sealed, their range of sound is just OK. There isn't much on the bass end, but the mids and highs are decent. They sound pretty good and higher volumes without a terrible amount of distortion. Again, these are just above average sound quality, but they will beat out the ear buds that come with any MP3 player. I can't say much of the noise reduction as these didn't seal in my ear 100%, but they did do more than traditional buds.
Good as a back-up set. -- 2010-03-10
I got these as a back-up set for my Sansa Clip Plus mp3 player. The buds that came with the player actually sound noticeably better than these JBuds do, but they do block out more noise. I'll use them when I expect to be somewhere noisy. For less then $10 I'm still happy with the purchase, and am glad to have something in case my other ear buds get damaged or lost. Shipping was really speedy, and this is a good deal for the price.

These are high quality, durable headphones being sold at a steal!
I've tried other headphones before, but these take the cake for the price.
Equivalent if not better than Sony Head buds I've tried.
They isolate a decent amount of sound to other people, but mainly to isolate ambiance around you perfectly.
I'm impressed with the bass quality.
I'm using several of them as audio sends back to players (musicians) in my mini studio.
They're worth the price.

I did not purchase these. I ordered them with Pepsi Stuff points. They did not last very long and fell apart after a couple of weeks.

Good Replacement Earphones /w Mic - Recommended! -- 2010-02-18
We bought these Apple Earphones as replacements for a lost pair of the standard ones that came with my iTouch (3rd gen).
These work great and the addition of the volume controls is a great feature. I use these for Skype (which works well on the iTouch over WiFi) and have no problem with the clarity or sensitivity of the microphone.
My only minor issues is the these can fall out of my ears when moving around a lot, but otherwise these work better than expected.

OEM apple in-ear headphones can't be beat for sound and comfort. These were a great price. If you don't need the little extras like a volume control or one side longer to go around the neck, these are the earphones for you.

Sound and feel really good -- 2010-03-09
I'm using these with an ITouch and they sound terrific, I have to say. The big thing to me is how easily and well they fit in my ears right out of the box. The ear pads are so soft and comfortable that you can forget they're in your ears. Are they 4 times better than the $20 Sony set I replaced them with or the set that came free with the ITouch? Not sure yet. They definitely sound better, though. So far, I'd have to say the comfort and fit are what stand out to me after about 8 hours of (non-continuous) use. I do wish you could tell which ear piece is left and which is right in the dark, like on a dark airplane; it makes a difference in movies. But that's more a knock on ear buds in general than these in specific. I'm still waiting to hear the music or movie scene where I have that "Wow" moment from the great audio. No complaints, though. Oh, and the metal case that comes with them is almost the size of a pack of cigarettes which makes it close to useless for me; too darn big.
Bass is pretty terrible, something they left out of the CNET review. -- 2010-03-08
I pony'd up for these buds thinking they would be superior to, say a $20 pair. Not the case. There is almost no bass at all. I don't listen to too much rap or hip/hop but I do listen to a lot of rock that has some pretty decent bass to it and those songs sound like they're coming out of a little portable radio. Other than the bass issue they feel great in my ears and the highs and mids come in crisp and clear. I think I was primarily influenced by a review video that I saw on CNET. The gal explained that these were as good as it gets for under $100. So I would suggest that if you not going to spend big bucks on earbuds, just go with the cheaper sets.

The jack doesn't work after 2 months -- 2010-03-09
I usually don't do reviews on Amazon, but I'm very disappointed with this item that I thought I would share my opinion. I wanted a new earbuds for my Iphone because the one that comes with the phone doesn't fit my ears very well. Because of the shape, the Jbuds fits me very well and it doesn't hurt my ears at all even with a prolonged use.
I use the Jbuds everyday. Taking it in and out of the iphone maybe 2-3 times a day. After only 2 months I noticed that the sound is breaking up. I tried twisting the jack and it fixed the problem. The problem became worst. Now I have to constantly play with the jack because it doesn't fit in the iphone correctly anymore. The problem is NOT with the iphone because the problem disappears when I put in the old earbuds from iphone.
I would suggest to find other brand.

Pros:Comfortable fit, great sound quality, sleek look, and great customer service.
I liked this product very much and after a 24 hour burn in period the sound was perfect. About 6 months innto my ownership the left earbud lost sound an stopped working entirely but the customer service was very helpful and getting a replacement was easy over all they were great headphones at a very reasonable price. However the "reinforced connections are not that well reinforced but with a smalldab of super glue this is easily fixed i would definitely buy this again.

Good Sound, for smaller ears -- 2010-03-09
I have small ears, these headphones work well and fit almost perfectly. I have gone through three pairs of these over the past four years, they have good bass and great treble. Best headphones you can get for $25. It does seem like all headphone cords suck a bit.
Beware the cord, like others have said -- 2010-03-09
I am by no way an audiophile but I had these earbuds for less than an hour before starting the return process. The earbuds sounded great but the cord is horrendous, the slightest movement of the cord near the plug and the sound would drop way down in volume, create loud static, or one of the earbuds would go completely off. The cord is so thin I can't imagine I simply got a bad pair so I'm going to try my luck with a different brand. Amazon was great with the return as always. Stear clear if you plan on moving at all while wearing these.
