Really am enjoying my ear buds. They are comfortable like none I have ever used.
The best choice for headphones within your budget -- 2010-03-13
Ok so I found this headphones by chance on Amazon one month ago. I used to have 3 Skullcandy headphones (great headphone by the way) and have tried a couple of headphones from Sennheiser, Sony, Creative, etc. To me, I have no idea about this JLab brand before (sound kinda cheap to me actually). All I knew is that my Skullcandy is on the brink of dying and I needed a new headphone within my college budget. So I tried to search for a decent headphone with a reasonable price. I found this J3 along with J2 and J1 with more than a thousand rating about this product. So I decided to try something new. I have ordered a J3 headphone (after doing some research about J3, J2, and J1)The box came within 2 days. My first impression about this product is not so good (look kinda cheap anyway) The headphones wire is made from metal wire with plastic coated. The headphones also come with a case which I have not used for a long time.
Plugged in to my Ipod to test, I found that this headphone provided excessive treble at first. Too much treble that I can hear any little sounds from the song that I have never heard before (The day that never comes - Metallica). I tried to switch to another song which use more bass (I have a feeling - Black Eyed Peas). The result was ok comparing with my Skullcandy pair. I switch to the bass booster mode on my ipod and all the sound just barely hold together. I also tried a couple of pop songs + classic songs, the result is just nealy the same which is too much excessive treble more than bass.
After one month using this headphone, the situation has changed. This headphones tend to come to balance the trebles and basses.
So here is the bottom line:
Pros: - Reasonable price
- Pretty good trebles and basses after you burn in this headphones
- Comfortable for wearing a longtime
Cons: - Not so stylist

Price/Quality -- 2010-03-12
This product has good price/quality ratio. I've been using it with my iPod for 1 month. I've not experienced any problems and happy with this product.
Good for the price, but you might as well get Skullcandy -- 2010-03-12
I owned these JBuds for eight or nine months, and I had no complaints for the majority of that time. Then with wear and tear, the right earbud started to go, and I would have to fight and twist the cord to get a half-second of sound. A couple weeks later they met my vacuum cleaner, and that was the end of them.
The cord was a good length, and there was some reduction in outside noise. The bass was okay, but not that great. I did really like that they came with three different inserts - I apparently have tiny ears, so I was able to make them a size that would stay put in my ear. However, they were uncomfortable after an hour or two of wear.
I replaced them with a pair of Skullcandy earbuds for an extra $3 or $4, and I have to say I should have just gotten the Skullcandy ones first. They're more comfortable, seem to create a better seal and block more noise, and the sound quality's better. The Skullcandy cord is also a lot thicker and sturdier than the JBuds cord. So much sturdier that they survived the vacuum today with absolutely no damage (the boyfriend has an obsession with leaving black earbuds on our black carpet). If for some reason you don't want to pay an extra few dollars, though, the JBuds are good - just be really careful with the cord.

sound quality is OK. It does the job but is not good at cancelling out noises. However for the price, you can't beat it. I use it as a temporary replacement until i can upgrade.

Never have I been so surprised by an item that cost so little and yet gave so much. The audio is amazing, also the isolation of outside sounds. You have to really try to hear past them if need to. Wide range of clear sound, no distortion. Highly recomend them. I bought these to use with my Kindel, but am now using them with my lap top to watch/listen to movies and music.

Another Quality Apple Product -- 2010-03-11
I ordered these to use with my iTouch, hoping they would work well with voice enabled apps. I went with Apple because I trust the brand, and they came through again. These are great, and the microphone is very clear and picks up sounds very well. I've used them with Skype, iCall, and Shazam and they all work great. I would definitely buy them again.
Good Replacement Earphones /w Mic - Recommended! -- 2010-02-18
We bought these Apple Earphones as replacements for a lost pair of the standard ones that came with my iTouch (3rd gen).
These work great and the addition of the volume controls is a great feature. I use these for Skype (which works well on the iTouch over WiFi) and have no problem with the clarity or sensitivity of the microphone.
My only minor issues is the these can fall out of my ears when moving around a lot, but otherwise these work better than expected.

I love these earbuds. They are noise isolating so that you can hear the music easier & better. They have a great low end response for deep bass (like the deep bass drum in Korn's music). Like a lot of reviewers, I did think they were a bit "harsh" at first, but either they mellowed out or I have become used to them.
My Buds -- 2010-03-12
Now that I have tried these I have found that they are quite exceptional earphones. Though I find that all of the "in-the-ear" earphones don't really fit my fancy, I think it is something about the rubber type foams that all are designed with they seem not to comform comfortably to my ear for some unknown reason, however overall These JBuds have a very good sound once that sweet spot is found. Hope this is helpful to someone.

Outstanding sound and fit, seems a little fragile -- 2010-03-13
These are the sixth set of earphones, and best in terms of sound quality, I've had. They are very comfortable to wear. They are also the best fit - they seal off the ear canal and stay in place without any readjustment. That had been a serious annoyance with some of my previous ones.
My only concern is that the wires are very thin and appear fagile. Sometimes I sleep with them in (yes, they're that comfortable), and I'm concerned the wires may pull loose. But this is only a hypothetical problem, as they haven't pulled loose and still work perfectly.
I bought them because I read a couple of online reviews claiming they sound as good as others that cost 3 times as much. I don't know whether that's true because I've never listened to $250 earphones, but they certainly sound better than others that sell for a comparable price.
LOVE them, except for the cord -- 2010-03-12
i positively LOVE these headphones, with one exception....
i have strange ears, and have had problems with all manner of headphones and ear buds over the years. they either bruise my ears internally because they don't fit right, or they bruise my ears externally because they don't fit right. these are the ONLY things i've tried that are so comfortable, i can sleep with them in my ears while traveling, for example, and i don't feel a thing.
HOWEVER, i am now waiting for my third set to arrive. the first set i got for christmas got caught in the hinge of my laptop, and i severed the outer covering of the wires, and frayed the wires. my bad. the second set, which only arrived early this week, were used one time - late last night, when i pulled them out of the box in the dark and stuck them in my iPod and into my ears, and immediately fell asleep. this afternoon, when i went to replace them in their case, i noticed that the exact same thing had happened to this pair as happened to the first, only there was no computer around them in which to get caught. i think they came out of the box with a frayed cord.
if the same thing happens to the third pair (which amazon is kind enough to exchange me for no cost) does the same thing, i regret and lament that i will have to find another option for my listening pleasure. and this is a shame, because aside from this one annoying thing, i can't say enough about how great these ear buds are.

Great upgade choice for OEM earbuds. -- 2010-03-13
I've owned the CX-300 earbuds for over five months now and am very pleased with my purchase. Like many, I spent hours pouring over the reviews and finally decided to give these a try. The price was the deciding factor. I paid $21.77 included shipping and now, I can honestly say I would have been just as satisfied had I paid the list price. These are a HUGE improvement over the coin size earbuds that came with my Blackberry 9700. Initially I was startled by a sound I hadn't heard with my other earbuds... BASS! These things rock! The highs and mids are equally satisfying. I listen mainly to R&B(60's to present) and the Sennheiser's don't miss a beat. I can't imagine paying $100 for earbuds like some folks.
Don't make the mistake of getting too caught up in the reviews. Buy them.

Mine is very sensitive to line noise. When the wire brushes against my shirt, even slightly, it makes a loud sound. So, I can't jog with it. It is good for flights, however, where I'm not moving around at all.
