 | Creative Zen Mozaic 16 GB MP3 Player (Black)
Great for stashing quick songs on, but terrible software! -- 2010-08-25 When I first got it, it worked fine, i put a lot of songs on it worked alright. The issues started happening when i synced it with my library. It synced it twice, doubling a lot of songs instead of giving an option to replace them. I deleted some songs manually off of it, it froze after i deleted about 20 songs and had to reset it. After that, everytime i played all tracks, it would be missing data when i played a song. And when i tried to que a specific song, it would que a differnt song that was higher on the list, like it didn't fully delete some songs and so it shifted all the tracks or something. Then I tried to fix it using the creative centrale. Worst software I've had to deal with. It's confusing, it won't just play the whole library on the computer, you'd have to transfer it to your computer and eat up your computer space (one of the reasons i wanted an mp3 player to save all my music on it and not take up any comp memory). Not only is it confusing, but it didn't save half of the songs I put into playlists i created.
On the whole, it's great as a portable device, great sound. But if you want to listen to it on your computer or organize it thouroughly, it's not the best for that at all.
Love my Zen -- 2010-08-25 I started with a Creative Zen Mozaic 8GB MP3 player. I found it so easy to use, I moved up to the 16GB Zen. I am unable to read books any longer, so this is the perfect alternative. I can download several books at a time and end up with hundreds of hours of enjoyment. The books are so easy to download, I can't believe it. The price is better than any competitors. I love this product and intend to continue to be a loyal customer.

 | Creative EP-630 In-Ear Noise-Isolating Headphones (Black)
Great Headphones -- 2010-08-31 These headphones have great sound. Great bass and they fit in my ears great. You can barely hear whats happening around you with these on. In my opinion these sound better than the Skullcandy Ink'd.
BEST headphones -- 2010-08-29 These are great headphones! The brand came with my computer when I purchased it and I have never bought another brand since. I've had just about every other type of headphone (costing in the $10-$45 range) and these are the best. The sound quality is awesome, they don't fall out of your ears, they are reasonably priced, and they are 100% comfortable.

 | Creative Labs Zen Mozaic EZ300 4 GB MP3 Player (Black)
Creative Labs Mosaic MP3 Player -- 2010-09-01 I have several Creative Labs products and am very happy with all of them. It is not easy to create a playlist of selected files in the Mosaic. It seems to have a mind of its own and always puts all of my files into every playlist. Still working on figuring it out. If anyone has experience doing it, post a message.
Nice little player. -- 2010-08-21 My first MP3 player. Nice little thing. I prefer to not use their Centrale software, but rather just copy/delete files to the file system (just like Windows file system).

Doesn't live up to how Creative says it will. -- 2010-09-01 The Creative Centrale software to manage your transfer music and create playlists is terrible. I would recommend using the PC to move the music and create playlists. The keyboard function is lame. Each key has 7 options like number 1 has a,b,c,A,B,C,1 so you have a lot of keying to create a file name. The wireless lan access to say Yahoo messenger doesn't work at all. It will connect to the lan, but you will never connect to Yahoo messenger because the device has no browser. I was so frustrated using the Creative Centrale software that I called technical support in ASIA long distance, their own people who work for Creative and bought this same player said it was lame at best. The player does have a good sound thru the headphones and battery life is not bad. The rest is Hype at best. Should retail for no more that $60.
X-Fi and X-Fi2 -- 2010-08-30 I purchased the X-FI2 when I thought my Creative Zen Vision:M was dying. Fortunately, it didn't. It is still the best. Everytime I think about the X-FIs, I get so mad I could spit. How can you improve on perfection? You can't and this is the classic example of how something good can be redesigned poorly. Bad software, and bad physical design. I sent the FI2 back, not Napster compatible. I have 3000+ Napster tunes. After using the Vision:M, I found it difficult to make any sense out the design direction. The new one is small and cute, but thats it. I just hope there is a better model before my M expires.

 | Creative Labs Zen MX 16 GB MP3 Player (Black)
Warranty not honored. No contact response -- 2010-08-31 The player does not have an on/off switch. Rather you have to hold the "play" button for a minimum of 3 seconds for the device to turn on. You have to push until the pad of your finger turns white and is sore.
The Lock feature has to be programmed to function. There's no Lock/unlock button externally. This player is tedius to say the least.
The worst is that the player just stopped working after 5 months.
Creative's custumer contact (800) telephone number takes you nowhere to speak to no one. Online contact leads to a deadend as well.
They have not honored their one year parts warranty.
I now have to go to the trouble to file a formal complaint. I will not do business with this company again. NO!

 | Creative Labs Zen X-Fi 2 16 GB MP3 and Video Player with Touchscreen and Built-In Speaker (Black)
Very disappointed -- 2010-09-03 I have two Zens now and I have had several I Pods, including the Touch. I live with audio books and the Zen allows me to download from my public library although I learned this evening there are some books I can download to my Mac and play on my I
I pod or MP3, which I did this evening.
I was under the impression Ipods were overrated and have had a high regard for my Zens. My new Zen X F12 is just cheap, the touch screen is horrible, it is not easy to operate. I downloaded my ITunes and even with my Bose headphones it had a very poor sound quality.
When I researched return policy it stated it needed to be returned in an unopened package. Believe me, it took me at the very least 30 minutes just to get the thing out of the packaging; how would you know the quality was so poor until investigating the device. Okay, I will keep it, my husband drowns MP3 players on occasion when his swimmer case leaks, it will be good for that.
That old saying, "You get what you pay for", going back to a new IPod, please, don't waste your money on this product.
Nice Surprise -- 2010-09-01 I've had my Creative Zen Vision:M player for more than 7 years and really have no complaints about it except that it was starting to get a little old in terms of technology and the hard drive started clicking so that immediately sent alarm bells ringing, I knew it was only a matter of time. So I started looking at different players to see what I wanted. I went to look at Creative again to see what players they had available, and I found the Creative Zen x-fi2. In terms of specs it offered exactly what I look for in my player. I use my players for music and videos, everything else is really a bonus. If you want lots of different applications and multimedia bells and whistles this might not be for you. So I searched the Cnet and other websites to find reviews about the player. After reading some reviews I was a bit hesitant to buy the player because so many people had issues with the touch interface and the the software it comes with, etc. Well I started looking at other products.
I didn't want an Apple I-touch because of the proprietary software, i-tunes, and I was close to buying the Zune but again, it forces you to use their software too. I went back to Creative mainly because I like the fact that you can use Windows media player to sync or you can just click and drop the music into the player, much like a flash drive external device, something you can't do with the other players I was considering.(FYI: You don't have to use the Creative software that comes embedded in the player, you don't even have to install it) I decided to try the Creative player.....I've had it for about 2 weeks now and I love it! The sounds is fantastic, the design is nice and it is easy to use.
All the reviews about the touch screen not being sensitive I think miss the way that this touch screen is supposed to work. It is actually the reverse of most touch screen where only a slight touch is needed to activate the screen controls. The touch screen on the Creative Zen x-fi 2 works similar to having actual buttons, i.e. pressing as if there were real buttons is what makes it work the best. And it really is easy to use and navigate, I let someone who had never used Creative players before use the Zen x-fi 2 and he was able to figure everything out in a matter of minutes and he also didn't find the touch screen to be an issue, he was able to figure out that some pressure was needed to make it work. He commented that he actually liked that of the touchscreen. Hopefully this review helps with those that might have doubts about the touchscreen, it is really not an issue.
As far as the cons, right now the only issue I'm having is transferring video from my computer to the player. I think it's just a matter of making sure i have the correct file type. Also, here's a tip, if you're using Windows Media Player to sync the player, if you use an earlier version of the player, I used Windows Media Player 11, the play lists you saved on that player DO transfer to the player, however, if you have the latest player Windows Media Player 12, they don't. I'm not sure why.
One more thing, feel i should mention how light in weight this player is. It is actually very lightweight, it caught me by surprise. Not a bad thing but it takes some getting used to, then again the Zen Vision:M is pretty heavy compared to other players....
